Kotwali Police have booked a doctor of district hospital here on charges of teasing the mother of a newborn on Wednesday.

UJJAIN: Kotwali Police have booked a doctor of district hospital here on charges of teasing the mother of a newborn on Wednesday.
According to police sources, the complainant woman had given birth to a child on September 20. As the baby was suffering from infection, he was admitted to the children ward. His mother was sleeping in the ward as pediatrician Dr A K Mittal allegedly touched her and teased at around 2am. He again called the woman to his chamber at 5 in the morning.
Kotwali police station incharge Vivek Kanodia said a case under section 354 (criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the IPC has been registered and further investigation are on. The woman reportedly audio recorded the voice of the doctor in her mobile.
